Memberships
Membership fees are an important source of support for our projects,
including newsletters, the website, the walking tour guide, and
the oral history program. Society members include past and present
Highlanders as well as many non-residents who just love this neighbourhood.
If you'd like to keep abreast of activity in the Highlands, an
HHS membership is the best way to do it.
Memberships are annual and renewable each September.
Cheques should be made payable to Highlands Historical Society
and mailed to our post office box:
Box 51066, Highlands Post Office

Helping Hands
Do you think that you would enjoy:
-
Interviewing long-time Highlanders about the history of our neighbourhood?
-
Preparing transcripts for those interviews?
-
Collecting historical clippings, photos, and other artifacts of our community's past?
The HHS Oral History Committee, which records and preserves
the history of the Highlands (people, events, buildings, and
businesses), would welcome your assistance.
Please email the Oral History Committee Chair Carol Snyder for further information.
